i was gonna say something similar to this

men define flirting as actions directly related to having sex whereas women define flirting by just generally having a laugh with men who arent their boyfriend, saying that, a lot of men will see this as actions directly related to having sex, lol
shes probably had a boyfriend who didnt like her talking to other men, no matter how harmless, and is letting you know that she is not going to put up with that, fair enough really, you wouldnt like her telling you youre not allowed to talk to other women.
Then again, you wont know if this is really the case unless you go, personally I would spend the night talking to her girlfriends, you have got to meet her friends eventually, why not now, just arrange to meet a few of your friends out that night too in case they are all idiots
 
If i was in your situation i would go just to see what her defanition of flirting is, most women think its just having a laugh with guys, where as us men we think its a lot more.

Now if she does start flirting with other guys, the game is on, what she can do you can do, and trust me it will infuriate her if other women are getting interested in you! Just act like you dont care she is flirting.

I'd go see what its like mate but if she's all touchy and feely to other guys and missing you out of the conversation just say your goodbyes and walk.

She did say flirting not just talking though as talking and flirting are totally different things!

Girls keeping in contact with ex's isn't a problem, but if they flirt with them indeed flirt with anyone onfront of you then that's a problem. It's immature at best. I'd ditch her, doesn't sound trustworthy mate. If she doesn't see the problem then if I were you I'd not even bother explain it and end the relationship as you'll never trust her.
 
If she says she likes flirting with guys even her ex's infront of you it shows she doesn't respect you in the slightest. Punch her in the ovaries then ditch her before she goes on and breaks your heart in the future.

P.s. I went out with one of these girls I while back. Probably the worse relationship ive ever been in.

P.p.s. Depends what her definition of flirting is. I see it as them being all over other guys basically, some see it as a laugh between mates.

I had exactly the same experience many moons ago. At a party and she was flirting with other guys. I just shrugged and left, never contacted her again.

Don't get hung up on it - just ditch her and move on.

This... she is belittling you and being downright disrespectful. If she couldn't help it because *one* ex still got on with her group of friends it'd be tolerable, but to me it sounds like she's deliberately trying to make you feel small and trying to get the upper hand.

...especially about the honeymoon period and getting owned within that time frame. Go and see how it is, or move on. Simple options.

Also it appears that almost 100% of people posting here come out with the same advice and recant tales of similar experience. Don't be a chump!
