what the hell is this game about lol? I don't even understand what i'm supposed to be acheiving lol. all that the game seems to be is click left button to walk to a spot, then right button to widely stab something.

am i missing something?

You have to build your chracter using the skill tree and items also upgrading your defenses

The idea is you have to try and push through to get to the enemys base and destroy their citadel

hhmmm ok, I better print off the manual. I ain't used to all of this, never played WOW or anything like that. All this "the ring of oaks" will increase mana by 500, I don't even know what mana is lol...

extreme learning curve for me lol
 
Superb fun, not shouted at the screen this much in ages! Just playing the fire/ice chap, he's rubbish until you upgrade his AOE stuff, then it's lots of fun! So far playing single player only against CPU AI but surprisingly good fun and drop dead gorgeous.

If only mmos were this much fun!

:/ I've also got an xtreme music (OEM), and it works fine.. though I using the Youp Pax drivers rather than the officials..

It's not much help, but you could try the you pax drivers?
 
So far ive completed the tournament twice with Torch Bearer and Oak. I think i prefer the assassin class more that the general. But ive only finished it once with each class.

Torch Bearer-Assassin class: Really quite clever with how you want to upgrade his skills, with either being an ice damage dealer (best choice personally) or fire damage dealer. Or you could make him do a bit of both, but your best off mastering one of them. Ice storm is so deadly, kills large groups of enemies with ease boosting your xp right up:)

keep switching between the two forms when you're away from enemies, and you'll get both your ice buff and fire buff active at once :)

I've lost twice so far, from two games :p
Ah well, I lasted longer than I expected.. really enjoying it so far :)
 
Yeah torch bearer is good cos i like me fireballs and stuff. :)

Better than the rook or whatever the big lad is called, kept dying with him.

I'm intending to skirmish with every char on every level to see which I like. only done 3 so far all with Torch Bearer but he seems pretty nice. Fireballs can be seriously nasty once upgraded! so far I've concentrated with fire spells though, need to try some nice ice ones next... ice ice baby! :D:D
 
Anyone tryed that beast thing for melee. Looks proper cool when in diety select screen with that cool roar but no idea if it will be a good character to play.

Just won my first game with him :)
The trick with the melee beast is to abuse TP scrolls, and save up for the heartstone thing that completely regens all HP/MP over ten seconds :)
 
Can someone give me a list of the minimum system requirements, can't find them on the net :( Either that or give me a rough guide of how demanding it is: currently my computer struggles on DoW2 on minimum settings and res. Thx
