Just played my first game. At the start, I was wondering how I build barracks and the like.

Then I got the idea of the game and won.

Definitely need to learn what each of the upgrades/items do.

Played as the Rook which annoyed me when the other Demigods retreated quicker than I could follow when they were close to death. Found the boulder roll to slow them down enough to get a couple more hits in.

Bit of a thread ressurection.

Me and a mate still play this occasionally. Are there no new maps available? The "mod" section has been introduced it seems, but the lack of maps is really killing it for us, just finding it a bit stale.

Are there any similar games around? Both HoN and DotA don't have any AI options, and we're not bothered about playing against anyone else, we just prefer to play against/with the AI....

Id suggest League of Legends, i'm an ex disappointed DemiGod Player. LoL is closer in that the deny which exists in Dota and Hon does not exist in Lol. It's also easier to grasp than both of those 2. It does have an AI - though not great - that said probably no worse than DG's
