Yep, it's a nice area and being able to stroll out the back door of my parents house and be onto the Pentlands in a matter of minutes is great. Colinton is pretty nice too, I'm not so familiar with Balerno though.

Was originally from Partick, moved to South Lanarkshire (Coalburn to be presise) when I was young. Left as soon as I was old enough and ended up in Edinburgh, now I live in Kirkcaldy
