What Is going on with Grand Turismo 5?

It should be, but I worry somewhat that they may have spent / be spending too much time on GT5: Prologue. Lets face it, when has a GT game ever come on time? It's going to be 2010 at the very earliest or 2011 at the latest. One thing is for sure, when it does some it'll be awesome. Lack of damage doesn't bother me though and it seems to be the main thing the critics pick on! Roll on release I say!

Totally agree, It will be awesome, also after playing gran turismo last for the ps 2 i then got an xbox after that this was when project gotham was released also thought that was a interestin game managed to complete it mostly the arcade type that game, but had a lot of fun playing it.
In the terms of you playing the game soon, nothing, show pony, Sony are wasting a lot of man power of getting HD cars right just so when you crash into a wall they stay perfect like you are driving in a parallel universe.

Damage was announced ages ago! Apparently it takes 6 months to model a car which is probably why it's still in development lol. Sony's in house developers are probably pretty familiar with the hardware by now aswell its been 2.5 years.

One of the head devs told someone in an interview early last year. He said it would be both cosmetic and performance affecting damage.
