Dam, how many do they put on these days? I remember in the days I went (i4 through to i8) they werent that regular, but i was also only about 6-7 years ago I think? I would have thought people would get bored of them if they were that frequent.

it was 4 a year until i11 which was the last one between the main easter and summer ones. After that it was only 3 a year.

I must admit im suprised how dismissive you are of that video and how you assume that anyone over 16 there is an idiot. A lot of people go to these events, not everyone runs around screaming.....

Ah, that makes more sense. Looks like they have really stepped their game up from the Swindon and Newbury venues I went to.

Those kids werent running around screaming, thats not my issue with them. Although I do see your point, I just dont think Id personally be able to handle it.

I've always been put off going to these, teenage sweat, panda pop drinks and everyone running around skidding on the floor shouting "OWNZORED".

If I went, I think it would be the final nail in the coffin for me, gaming wise.

) were a right laugh, dominos, beer, loads of games to play, if you're a gamer, whats not to like? All the times I went there was never a bad smell

Stop trying to stir mate. Its nothing to do with playing games or meeting e-friends or whatever. It is simply that the lads in the video seem like... well immature lets say, and not the type of people you would want to spend a weekend in a tent with. In my opinion of course.

You know full well what I meant, and much like Dun, I'd rather slit my wrists than spend a weekend with people like that. Sure, I know not everybody there will be the same - But lots will.

yeh drinking panda pop drinks and space invader 10p crisps, like off of school disco's, skidding on the floor shouting "I owned you".

I like abit of gaming now and then, but seriously I would kill myself at a gaming lan through pure depression.

Being surrounded by kids, the unemployed, the fat and lazy. No thanks.
