More crazy PL shake up plans

What's the point? Its just shrinking the Premiership whilst effectively renaming the Championship 'Premiership 2'. People will still only want to play in Premiership 1 and the teams in Premiership 2 wouldn't get the big TV deals, much like the Championship.

As for having Rangers and Celtic - no thanks.

Won't happen.

Don't think the Prem going to 18 teams will happen either.

Championship is where it's at to be honest :)

Why do people want 18 teams in the Prem? Less games, why would that be a good thing?

More time to prefer for European matches for the big 4. Cos we're not doing great in Europe...

And more time to prepare for England matches.

And possibly a winter break.

Eurgh, I hate Europe, I find it very boring, I enjoy the Prem though.

Let me guess your a fan of one of the big four?

Hopefully this latest crackpot idea won't happen, oh how I long for a time when the money in football is back under control and the madhouse can settle back into something like normality.

What the hell is wrong with the Premiership this season? It's been one of the most exciting ever and we're not even in the last month, why change what is working perfectly?

Can't now see the Old Firm joining the Premiership, maybe a few years back when all the top names were up in Scotland they may of had a chance of mid table in the Premiership, but not anymore. They would struggle for the first few years until they got the money in and could pay for the top names again, then they could be competitive. But with the present teams they would struggle for yop 6 in the Championship IMHO.

Plus they would have to turn their back on European Football, having been guaranteed Champions League and UEFA Cup Football in Scotland.
