Just received my latest bill, prices have been increased and loyalty discounts have also been decreased, sneaky way to do it I feel.

Apparantly brings existing users in line with new ones...

So whats the point in the "loyalty" discounts lol

Theres a £1.25 charge now for receiving a bill :eek:
Can apparantly be removed in teh control panel in the website.
 
2mb cable is at £20 whereas the 10mb cable is also £20 i also get charged £5 for every bill as i don't have a DD setup i pay online every month but i do get a £1 discount for paying online! :p
 
There web site is very sly i.e they dont add on the £11 line rentel till AFTER
you click on buy..
so any new comers to Virgin remember to add £11 to what the site says.

On a side note my contract is up in june and if they try to take away my loyalty discounts
I will find some one else.
 
I signed up for online billing as soon as they introduced the 1.25 a bill thing, having a laugh arent they!

theyre not taking away the loyalty discounts, Theyre reducing them, think mine was reduced by about £4.

Then add on the price increases :(

Saw your post and went to the phone asap and asked about price increases
and to keep what I got I signed another year and kept everything I now have
that is a 10Mb/XL TV(plus V+HD box) /XL Phone for £42 a month.
I did not want to stay with them but sky was just as bad and I love VMs catchup.
 
My Previous Charges : £48.00
New User Charges: £48.70 (from website)
My current Charges: £53

In line with new customers my ass.
And thats not counting the £50 credit for signing up online OR the £11 p/m reduction that a new user gets for the first 3 months.

They tried that with me and I put the phone down and dialed 150
then
press 2 and 2 again and told them I was leaving.

try it.
