sickening police violence

from an early insight ;), yeah he was haemorrhaging, sounds a bit callous now eh?

Post Number 139 FYI

If you're going to try and catch me out then please post #163 where I retracted my statement about him jumping to his feet :)
I admitted I was wrong 1000 posts back so you fail.

OK, soapboxstuart, I will explain -

Footballers go over for the mildest things and I was making an observation that footballers will be claiming abdominal bleeding for the mildest of falls.
IT IS NOT A DIG AT IAN TOMLINSON, IT IS NOT A DIG AT OTHER SUFFERERS, IT IS A DIG AT FOOTBALLERS AND THEIR PUSSY ATTITUDE.

Clear now?

err no, I knew you retracted your untenable statement, I WAS however highlighting you mocking a man who dies minutes later.

Err yes, I said 'He was that ill he jumped up and had a go at the police'.
I realised I'd made a mistake and a few posts later I retracted it.
What's your point?

It's pointless bringing up stuff where I admitted I was wrong

Sorry not clear at all. You are saying that Ian Tomlinsons fall was mild? Have you seen the footage tonight of his head smashing off concrete?
Put it in caps if you want, but that is not a MILD fall.

No no no no no no no - for Gods sake shut up or read the thread.
What are you on?

Clue - footballers falling over have got absolutely nothing to do with Ian tomlinson, it was a throwaway remark in a pointless thread.

To me that implies that you feel that Tomlinsons cause of death was abdominal bleeding from a mild fall.
Fairly clear what you are getting at.
I don't appreciate the tone of your replies tbh. It wasn't a 'throwaway remark in a pointless thread' when you were mocking me for 'not understanding it', adding your 'sweet' icons and telling me I didn't read posts and I had become your favourite poster.
Nope it seemed pretty important to you then?
Oh and if 'footballers falling over have got absolutely nothing to do with Ian tomlinson, it was a throwaway remark in a pointless thread.' Why not post it on the footballers falling over thread and NOT this one?

Who are you?
Are you a returnee?

please please please read the thread - you are so funny.

I don't think Tomlinson got abdominal bleeding from a mild fall and have stated it over and over so it isn't 'clear what I'm getting at'.

Oh yeah, and why put about footballers in this thread?
It is my right to take a thread off topic in GD like everybody else because it is a thread on the internetz.

So just to clarify - you think the fall was violent, mild, somewhere between?

Are you on about Tomlinson now?

In the original video you can tell that he must have hit his head and it was the first thing I said when I saw it 'Ooh his head'.
I still believe the push was a push that said 'Go away' and not a push that said 'Fall over and hit your head'.
Now because he had his hands in his pockets and maybe drunk he wasn't balanced and fell over.
He got his hands out immediately and broke his fall on his hands/arms and I would have thought banged his head.
Once again in the original video and a 1000 posts back he got up and walked away and didn't show any concern about his head or anything else.

So in summary it wasn't a mild fall because people of my age do fall hard but I don't think it was violent either and certainly not capable of causing abdominal bleeding.
Where do I get my expert knowledge from?
For my sins for 5 days a week, 7.5 hours a day I work with Consultants, Doctors, Nurses and assorted Health Professionals and this fall has been talked about (I am not a Health Professional but work very closely with them).
The general consensus is that it is very unlikely that a fall like that would cause abdominal bleeding but sometimes **** happens.
It could be that the part of his body was ready for the bleeding (maybe from an earlier attack) and the fall helped it on.

You WERE mocking him when you said 'he was that ill', this is supported by you constantly implying that it was 'just a little shove' along with loads of other examples of you playing down his injuries etc, and you still say he 'had a go', he merely remonstrated. IMHO it shows u in a callous light, its my opinion which i`m allowed ;)

My understanding is that there was only one person who claimed he smelt of alcohol. All the reports of him walking funny are from after his first fall and assault. Would you not walk a bit funny (he was described as looking dazed) if you'd just been pushed to the ground and repeatedly hit with a truncheon?

I retracted the 'jumping up and having a go'.
I was wrong and said so in post 136!
Why are you still bringing it up.

I don't know what your point is, what I thought before 136 is different to what I think now basically because somebody corrected me.

You are getting tedious bringing something up I retracted many posts ago.

You didn't read my post.
I'm talking about the original video in the first few posts where nothing else had cropped up at that time,
I even said MAYBE drunk.
Please don't twist what I've wrote.

I did read your post, otherwise I would have struggle to pick a section to quote. I was making the point that this idea of him being drunk, which you continue to perpetuate, has very very little backing it up. Do you not think that if he was totally bladdered it would have been mentioned in at least one of the autopsies?

I said MAYBE DRUNK which was the thought of quite a few people a 1000 posts back.

Me, I have no idea.

Considering the extent of police infiltrating crowds with photographers and databasing innocent people, it's mindboggling that they seem to have picked up none of the police mistreatement on this day.

Doesn't matter where I related it to

Well it does as it totally changes it meaning, if you refer to it in completely the wrong way.

would it help if I rephrased it to.
where did I say anything about brain injury or spontaneous injurys relating to this incident.
Which you still haven't answered and don't seem to understand the UK law and why if this is taken to court it will only waste money as it can't be proved in these circumstances. (with the evidence we have at this time)
