If so, are they any good?
If not, what do you suggest? :)
I've been told not to just jet wash it as the sand underneath becomes loose.

Ive jet washed the driveway without knowing about this sand bed theory, and its still fine :) Next time I will try and avoid the cracks.

Are you supposed to seal the block paving afterwards?

I saw someone using an industrial version of that last night, strikes me as a reasonable idea for getting a nice even finish, but nothing that couldnt be acheived using a pressure washer sensibly.

You're better off with simply jetwashing - takes longer but does the job a lot better. We've tried the Karcher one above, as well as one that came with the pressure washer, niether of them clean as good as just the jet.

In summary, don't waste your money! :)

My dads block paved drive had a moss problem, we spent a few days scraping all the moss out, jet washing, re-filling the sand then re-sealing the whole thing, fun times.

Another vote for a normal pressure washer here - I had a decent one that had a variable type pressure so turned it down a bit then did the washing.

Its getting on and leaking now and can't find another decent variable pressure one!

Whatever you do, don't stripe this over your dad's flip-flopped-foot when he first shows you his new purchase.

It took about 5 years before I was allowed to use it again :p

If it is bad you are better to use a jetwash on it and then replace the sand which is easy enough just sweep new sand over with a brush. The patio cleaner attachment is good for keeping it clean once this is done but it won't clean a badly marked patio/drive.

Mine's not too bad at the mo, been down about 2 years. Will probably get one to stick in the garage after its been used once:D
