How many steam 'friends'?

Steam since the start with 2 friends on? I know the friends really only started working properly within the past year or so...but the comment about a social life...in a comptuer forum...in a discussion about PC games?

on other hand i dont have steam so no friends on that, xfire has about 100 friends on but i haven't used that since about 06-07
It's just his post doesn't even make sense to me.
It's like he's saying he doesn't have many friends on steam, due to unknown reasons.
Then somehow brags that he has steam from the start, but you would expect someone like this to have more friends than two surely?
Then finally adds the AND I've got a social life.
So he has had two friends in the entire time steam has existed (and the friends feature worked) whilst stating he has managed that whilst having a social life, implying that others dont or he is better because of this?

what are you getting at? i simply said i have had Steam for years since the start and that i have 2 friends on it, also i added i have a life. big deal so what?
My steam friends list consists of work friends, college friends and e-friends (hah!) - at one point the list was so large that STEAM would not let me add any new people so I had to chop some people off that I don't really play with much.

Don't be coy, you very clearly implied that having numerous friends on steam makes you void of a "real life".
