Well the 5th conference has been picked and broadcast live on CNN yesterday. Is this another small step towards full UFO disclosure?


There are several parts to the whole broadcast.
 
The truth is yes the government have UFO records dotted around different military and intelligence departments however the reality is that they still do not understand the phenomena themselves.

The reason you do not have full disclosure is because they don't have the answers and they don't want to look stupid or frighten the public by telling them there are unexplained phenomena floating around our skies.

Anyone who thinks the government has all the answers is a fool. All that full disclosure will bring is records such as those that the MOD are busy releasing. Other countries such as France and the Netherlands have released their records, but their conclusions are still far from concrete.

Nobody knows what these things are yet......especially not internet nerds.

UFO = Unidentified Flying Object.

Nowhere in that does it say Aliens. I wish people would remember this.
 
magick - regarding my post above and Government disclosure, what are your thoughts?

I believe military personnel have most certainly been told to stay quiet about the details of certain sighting but this is to be expected in any area of the military where this is some kind of defence breech.

Do you truly believe there is a massive and systematic cover up and if so what evidence do you have because I can find nothing credible to support this at all.

There are plenty credible sightings but very little in way of a provable cover up. The closest you could come are the cases that were held back from Project Bluebook but even then I doubt those reports gave any real answers.

At the very least there's certainly a wall of slience regarding UFOs/ETs. There are god knows how many ex-air force personel coming forward and giving testomenies about the ufos they've seen and it's very rarely picked up by the mainstream media. Not to mention all the vidoes appearing, and I know many are fakes or probably other phenonomen but there is a percentage of some that can be explained by mundane means.

If there isn't a cover-up or wall of silence how come the mainstream media don't roll the genuine sightings? Occasionaly you'll get a quick mention, but the existance of ETs and them visiting us is the BIGGEST story ever and should be recieving a lot more attention than it currently gets.

They do have an idea what they are but to admit the existance of ET/UFOs would essentialy be admitting that the millitary/government aren't the highest power out there and when a small minority want retain control/order over a very large amount of people that's not a good thing to admit.

Because you can't prove beyond doubt that they are UFO's and no mainstream media company want to look like fools when it turns out that the "UFO" that they broke as headline news turns out to actually be a tube of bin bags sello-taped together and filled with hot air.

If you give the media proof beyond doubt that it actually is extra terrestrials visiting us and they will roll with it.

We don't know what they are, yes ET rolling up would be the biggest story ever but proof of this is not in the hands of the media to report. The media tend to be tongue in cheek about the subject because lets face it for every real researcher and credible whiteness there are 5 crackpots or mis-sightings. I have no doubt that there are many good journalists who are generally interested in the phenomena (Nick Cook of Jane's Defence Weekly springs to mind) but the media you have to remember is a money making business built on integrity and image, it has to distance it's self from the subject because of the nutters that have latched on to it in the past.

The other issues is that the topic is not at the forefront of the minds of the general public. It is very easy when you frequent groups of like minded people on the internet to believe that UFOs are big or important news to everyone....they simply are not.
