It's Anguilla japonica. It's very similar to the European/Silver/Common eel, Anguilla anguilla. If I did have to have an eel up my arse, I think I'd prefer an Anguilla to a Gymnothorax moray, like the one posted above. They have massive teeth coated with bacteria that cause wounds to become necrotic...
