I always find myself going over to the lake district to take photos, love the place, thought I'd share my last set as I've not posted any up for a while.

1. Pier about half way around Derwent Water from Keswick

2. Same Pier from a different angle

4. Cool looking tree also near Keswick

2 would be better if you could do something about the hazy background (and perhaps burn the jetty a little), and I think 5 has excessive vignetting. Otherwise they're all good :)

Really nice shots, love all of 'em! I'll have to head there one day, looks like a pretty cool place.

like them all! nice 1

Thanks guys :D
Ciphon - I can't reccomend it enough, the whole area is wonderful.

I can see what you mean, might have a play around with another shot, I've about 20 from the same position on the pier.
The vignetting is intentional to draw the eyes to the boats as I thought the background and foreground was quite distracting, maybe went a bit overboard (no pun intended ;)) with it!

I think if you want to keep the vignetting, then you should push it out a little and perhaps make it slightly stronger to compensate. I think it encroaches too much on the subject at the moment, without drawing the eye away from the edges. Bumping the light tones up a bit might help too. The vignetting is spot on with 4 though :)

I might just be being picky, but I think 1 could do with a bit of tonal adjustment too; maybe bring the midtones down a little? Looks a bit flat at the moment to me.

Don't mean to be overly critical – they're all lovely shots! Makes me want to go back there
