I think updating via the client wasn't my best idea, since it has to download so many small files it's taking forever to update. Still got 12,000 to go.

So, has anybody managed to find a working torrent for the client?
The one linked to from the official forums doesn't work for me, it just doesn't start (no peers?)
Tried a direct download (gamershell) but it failed at about 70%.
