Lampard goes a bit mental on radio show

i was listening to that live.

what happened, was james obrien was talking about a news article about lampard and his divorce etc

and lampard just rang up to have his say on the matter, and imo, did very well for himself...

Suuuuuuuuper Suuuuuuper Frank, Suuuuuuuuper Suuuuuuper Frank, Suuuuuuuuper Suuuuuuper Frank, Suuuuuuuper Frankie Lampard!!!

I think Frank does well for himself there and I actually dont dislike him quite as much now.

However, I think the Radio presenter is an absolute **** for the way he acted towards Frank, especially not apologising to him personally.

I don't understand why anyone would dislike Lampard in the first place, other than always seemingly scoring from deflections (:p) there is nothing about him on a personal level to dislike. He always comes across as a good bloke in interviews, etc.

He did well there, just highlights how much the media love making a story out of nothing (the photo incident he refers to).

Because he's a quality football player who plays for a team everyone loves to hate?

He's also better than Gerrard :D Anyone notice his assist in the FA Cup Semi and his goal in the champions league quarter final? How he isn't up for POTY is beyond a joke.

he does seem a nice enough guy who gets quite a disproportionate amount of stick.

*when i say 'gets' i mean 'eats' and when i say 'stick' i mean 'everything'

only joking.

Does anyone have a link to the original part where the DJ talks about him? IT's all good hearing Frank defending himself but I want to know exactly what the DJ said.

the gist of it seemed to be the radio presenter after debating this issue with other callers and talking about Lampard then went on to draw the "general" conclusion that men are weakened scum if they give their kids up?

Other than the fact he was clearly meaning Lampard its a wrong general conclusion, if one person in a relationship wants out, thats really it, you decide who the kids go with, non working mother or busy traveling father, easy choice there. You can't just fight and win in this situations and he was using it as a cheap shot by the sounds of it.

Never had a problem with Lampard, seems like one of the more upstanding footballers around who to my knowledge hasn't been sent home from an england camp for fighting, drunken brawls, gangbangs, no rape allegations at club partys etc etc.

Sure I've heard him speak before but speaks a heck of a lot better than some footballers(Joe cole).

Or Gerrard, did you see him last week on the Liverpool- Arsenal game?

So uneducated it's unbelievable. He also has zero personality from what I've seen of him. Then again, he could be completely different when he has no cameras on him, you know, abusing people etc...

:D

How disrespectful was that DJ?!? Even at the end he had to have the final word with and in a sarcastic tone of voice “I’m not likely to have an anniversary like that in my desktop diary”.

Good on you Frank!
