gtx260 0r gtx275

Its 192 shaders though.

Considering the going rate for cheap brand 216 core version is sub £145, I don't think its worth going for the 192 core version at £125.

Its a hard call. The $50 extra are kinda worth it if u look at the shader clock differences as well as the core and mem speeds and obviously the shader difference. I think they give about the same "bang for the buck". Look at some benchmarks and see if you can live with the 260 FPS in your fav games if not go for the 275.

Not true. The both overclock pretty much the same. The extra £50 isn't worth it for the extra performance either unlcocked or overclocked IMO. Bang for buck the GTX260 wins hands down. The GTX is not 25% quicker than a GTX260 but costs that much more. More like 5-10%.

I got lucky and got an ace 260. My results beat GTX280 and overclocked GTX280 and gives a GTX285 a run for its money.

Best £145 I ever spent ;)

I stand corrected :D

You know what, if the GTX 275 was around the £180 mark i would order one without a moments thought. that £200 or so price mark is just making me faulter a little.

I may just wait a week or two and see if they come down :p
