I took quite a lot, these are just a few, the rest are on the facebook group if you wanna see more. I herd the owners jaw drop when she saw the top one. :)

Not bad, but I would watch those highlights. You have large areas of blown highlights, especially in pic 1 and 2. I realise it is a difficult sitution with bright sunshine and pale walls, but I would have either exposed for the highlights, used exposure blending, or waited for the light to set a little.

yea, thanks for the C&C. much appreciated.;)

the place it self was really hard to shoot. There was a camera man working with me. He was using the full range of a sony Z1 vid cam for a little pan shot from inside to out. The window for really decent light was very small.

The first shot was a rushed job. Id taken the same shot a day earlier, but the cushions were a complete mess, The light/exposure was better on that one. The pool is also about 3-4 meters deep, trying to tread water, hold breath and take a photo is pretty tricky. :)

The waterproof housing is a bit of an arse anyway. I cant really change the exposure once its set. + the glass on the front is really poor. but I cant really blame my tools.

2nd shot ive no excuse for.

3-4th are a bit meh. 3rd was directly outside my room, 4th was about 10secs before we opened the wine.

just point out, non are cropped, just straightened and a little alteration with the light levels in picasa.

As MK said, you do need to watch the highlights but having been to Africa my self I know it's hard with the light.

The composition is very good, so be sure to take that away with you. (pat's on back)

Wish I could have been there.....

.....looks like a nice bottle of wine!!! :D
