I could have done, infact I had it pre ordered for months but a few days before it came out I cancelled it and ordered this :p I collect Final Fantasy VII stuff.
 
saw these in Bic Camera by Nagoya station earlier today, they are selling really fast and limited to one per customer :P they look great
 
I don't get what the excitment is all about , its 500 pounds for a PS3 in a slightly different colour and a game demo? :confused:

Pretty easy to understand if you're a fan of anything. Think about it, How many people spend stupid money following football teams, how many people spend stupid money following a lot of things.

Strife happens to follow Final Fantasy, And so stupid money to one person, is money well spent to him.

FYI, If i had the money spare I would also buy it

Is your glass always half empty? A lot of people will look at it (especially FF collectors) that its an uber rare FF exclusive collectors edition PS3 that no one else will have and youll be able to play the XIII demo way before EU release and it will be worth a fortune to fans in the future.

Not just about the game / colour he's a big ff fan like me ^^ if had money to buy a ps2 would be getting one those

Indeed, it probably was expensive but I collect Final Fantasy items anyway and it will most likely keep its value more than a regular console.

Few more I didn't put up earlier, may as well. I would take some pics of the demo but I can't direct feed and they will be pretty poor so you're probably better off looking online :p

Same, I dont think I would sell a perfectly good PS3 for this. Besides what about warranty?

So basically £500 for a demo.

I guess if I was the sort of person who cared about games collecting I might undertstand it.

I do prefer the finish though.
 
Saw this on another site for £403, the temptation is still there but I have to see what this months pay packet brings as I collect Final Fantasy games too.
Even for £500, that limited edition PS3 is a deal. a lot of people say thats expensive for a PS3 but there people on this forum who would spend the same amount of money on a multi/single graphic card or CPU without even thinking about it. That I cant justify!
