Well, my girlfriends head gasket failed for the last time, so the Rover has to be replaced.
She's been talking about a getting another car so we've been out the last few weeks looking at cars.
In the past she's always liked the idea of a 'little 4x4'. I know, a completely ridiculous vehicle. After driving a Jimny and Terros and seeing how much the price hike for a panda 4x4 was over a normal one she'd all but given up on the idea.
So, looking around forecourts she liked the look of a Suzuki Swift and we went to a suzuki dealers today to test drive one. However it was quite dissapointing. I was expecting something a lot sharper and better to drive.
However while we were there we came across a car that I have never even previously head of.
At first we weren't sure about it, but on closer inspection it was literally made for my girlfriend. We took it for a test drive and it was a complete surprise. Its actually really good to drive. A lot more responsive and stable than the swift felt. Plus it was a few grand cheaper and looked as if it had been well taken car of. So, we are picking it up next week.
Behold - and flame away....
