Well, my girlfriends head gasket failed for the last time, so the Rover has to be replaced.

She's been talking about a getting another car so we've been out the last few weeks looking at cars.

In the past she's always liked the idea of a 'little 4x4'. I know, a completely ridiculous vehicle. After driving a Jimny and Terros and seeing how much the price hike for a panda 4x4 was over a normal one she'd all but given up on the idea.

So, looking around forecourts she liked the look of a Suzuki Swift and we went to a suzuki dealers today to test drive one. However it was quite dissapointing. I was expecting something a lot sharper and better to drive.

However while we were there we came across a car that I have never even previously head of.

At first we weren't sure about it, but on closer inspection it was literally made for my girlfriend. We took it for a test drive and it was a complete surprise. Its actually really good to drive. A lot more responsive and stable than the swift felt. Plus it was a few grand cheaper and looked as if it had been well taken car of. So, we are picking it up next week. :)

Behold - and flame away....

The Suzuki Ignis 4Grip. :p

Your car choices make little children all over the world CRY :(

But on the other hand if you and your missus enjoy it fair play, bet it was cheap :)

Why is it that people refer to their girlfiends/female partner's as their "missus" when they're not married? Never figured this one out
Well, girlfriend sounds a bit 'teenage crush' and 'partner' sounds a bit..... Ahem.

So missus is a comfortable inbetween. At least in my vocabulary.

Is it actually 4 wheel drive though?

...Missus, that's something the peasantry, the great unwashed ...those 'people' with regional accents, say is it not? ... :P

Only joking :D

Nothing wrong with missus. Nothing wrong with Bug One's missus anyway :D

Interesting choice, not my cup of tea really!

seen a few out here in the norwegian countryside. not sure it will cope with the tough tarmac in the uk though ;)

This is actually one of my irrational pet hates. Missus = Mrs, she's your girlfriend, if you've got a problem with that term best you hurry up and put a ring on her finger :p

Anyway... nice Suzuki. The colour is cool.
