I hate American English, I played a lot of games when I was a kid and most of them had American English in them so I get confused in some things.

Elevator = Lift
Diaper = Nappy
Mall = Shopping Center
Bonnet = Hood
Boot = Trunk
Lorry = Truck
Flat = Appartment
Sweet = Candy
Fag = Cigarette
Biscuit = Cookie
Film = Movie

list is endless.
 
No-one has said Gasoline/Petrol yet? Actually there's loads of Car ones.. Trunk, Muffler, Hood, Fender, Shifter, Header, Stop Light, Gas Tank, Rotors, Filler, Windshield and probably more..
