Bit drunk (a lot drunk). Have seen threads about meetups in the past so I thought I'd get one started . Are there "official" do's? If not then thought I'd start one. Happy to get involved to araange...

Is anything already in plan for a London meetup? If not then anyone up for a beertastic night in the greatest city in the world????

Just dont invite frostednipple, just look at the state he gets in.

Actually I intend to invite FN as the guest of honour. If anyone can get a party moving he looks like the guy to do it!

Here's how you do it.

You decide where and when. You don't ask, otherwise you'll spend at least six pages of a thread talking about it.

You then post the details and don't change them. If people can't make it, then it's their problem.

Then you all turn up on the day and have a good time.

Oh, and one thing I suggest you should insist on is that you don't allow anyone under the age of 18. It puts you in a position of responsibility for their safety and if you're going to be drinking alcohol then legally they're not allowed.

So good luck :)

Feek's right, you need to decide on when and where then stick to it. I've only been to one in Edinburgh so far and found it to be a good laugh both nights, I'm not sure if I'd make this one but since I'll be staying in London from sometime in June onwards this year there is a fair chance I could be there.

Hi there,

Just get a megabus down to London... OcUK folk are worth it, aren't they?

I'm moving down there sometime in June and I'm not sure is the answer to the second part, I'll give you an answer after I've met them. ;)

Having said that, all the people I've met so far have been lovely people who I'd be happy to share a pint with again so I've got hopes for the rest. :)

awwww, its lovely to see a relationship bloom ;)

(we're not all evil, I was an accountant and left that side of things last year)

agree with Feek's advice, i've been on other forum meets (although not sure if any were OcUK) the only way to make it work is set a date a venue and hold firm when people start griping about it.

Listen to all of this. Also realise that it's quite a lot of work to organise. Start a new thread if you think you've got what it takes ;)
