gaming keyboard suggestions please :)

Ok, I got a £50 amazon voucher for my birthday, and Im thinking about getting a decent gaming keyboard. So Im looking for any advice really on what good quality and nice to use. Ive looked at the steelseries merc and the razer tarantula. I play WoW and a lot of FPS stuff, CSS and UT3 stuff like that. Not really fussed about macro keys to be honest, seems like waste of time and kinda cheating

i got a zboard keyboard which i have had for a good 2 years now and it is great. With it you can buy key sets if you want to for games such as wow or fps.

logitech G keyboards have had mine over 3 years and it it great origranl g15 the 1 with the blue lcd screen and blue led keys

Very nice, although the amount of macro keys is a bit over kill for me. I do love the LED backlighting as it looks to be a lot more brighter than my Logitech Illuminated Keyboard.

Yeah i was tempted by their gear, got the mouse and ended up not liking it. The valo looked nice until the G19 appeared...

My G15 was absolutely superb, but I spilt one too many drinks over it and it ceased to function.

Another vote for the G15, take me awhile to get used to it, when it 1st arrived as its longer than an average keyboard, kept hitting the wrong keys, the lcd screen is nice loads of apps you can get for it and most games now have some form of app to show health, bullets etc etc on it whilst playing.

Not technically a "gaming" keyboard but my Logitech Illuminated keyboard, whilst pricey for what it is, is bloody fantastic. Looks great, feels great for gaming and general use, and I generally just bloody love it.

Same here. My only problem is just the wrist rest is too small and maybe the F keys should be a more brighter colour, but other than that, I really love it.

Awesome keyboard

the keys are awesome rubber coated kind of a cross between laptop keys and a normal keyboard.

And if you do ever decide to use macros in the future, while it doesn't have any dedicated keys you can have 10 (or 15 i forget) profiles for different games/apps where any key can be bound to a macro.
