Do Americans speak English?

When I'm in America aside from the accent it's no different when speaking to them, who cares if some spellings are different and they use different words to describe the same things. In Scotland they use tend to use words I'm not familiar with, at least in America when they say "movie" and stuff like that you know what they mean.

It's probably because Americans would get confused if it was an english flag next to it, but we know English is English so don't care about the flag.

But yeah it gets me as well.

If it's an American site then fair enough, it clearly means the site will use the spelling differences that America use.

Do Geordies speak English?

only common people in newcastle say toon , gan and all those other horrible nasty words, they are usually the people with the horrible geordie accent aswell
