Going for a walk.. along a 60 MPH road

I'd say all those things are reduced in average cars, though that's not what I was saying. As Moeks say above, you shouldn't have a problem as all cars can stop, swerve, accelerate etc, but you should drive bearing in mind the limits of your vehicle. Of course, you're right in saying these things happen and sometimes it's not your fault, just in an ideal world this isn't the case. And of course, sometimes you can't do anything, regardless of what car you have.

Anyway, this is off-topic.

Sounds like the problem was you driving around country lanes at a speed in which you can barely stop in the distance you can see to be clear. NSL doesnt mean do 60 everywhere.

Agreed.

Just because it's 60mph it doesnt mean there will be no obstructions in the road

No, it's defective on his car and has been for almost a year. He can't be bothered to get it fixed.

He spun it 180 degrees on the M25 the other month, apparently.

Yet another reason I'm glad I live nowhere near him....

Alas, 'tis true. The Tilbury bunch are quite special - the female (I guess it was a female - it had breasts somewhere near the knees, and sounded like a dock worker) looked about 50, but was probably 15.

And I don't live in Tilbury, I live in Chadwell (hence "Tilbury-on-the-hill" :p )

Lol Chadwell isn't that much better than Tilbury. (Coming from a Grays lad :()
