It's odd as the phone doesn't appear to be network locked.

Tute, I think that when using forums or browsing web pages that the phone has a real problem selecting text, in fact mine won#t actually let me move the cursor back at all... it stays permanently at the end of the text box, but ONLY on HTML. Text messages and emails through the client let me jump around and select no problem... ive only had the issue when posting on forums so far!

Yeah that's what I get. I admit I forgot to check if it does it when texting! :o

Then again I don't select text or correct myself when texting, I just leave the errors in. :p
 
Tute and Richdog, I have the exact same problem, specifically relating to posting on forums, which can be a bit annoying as I have to mod on them.
 
Had one problem today - charged phone last night - went to bed and this morning the phone had 1 bar and bleeping saying battery is about to die - second time Ive had this :( Ive noticed the battery bar is either high or low... seems to keep full bars for ages then drops to nothing.
 
Yup, mine went from 3 bars to "low battery" in the space of a few minutes yesterday, also I thought i'd put it on to charge for like 10 minutes before I went out yesterday (because it showed one bar missing) and when I took it off charge, it was lower down the bars than before I plugged it in to charge.

Have to say im not that impressed with the battery life so far.
 
Well this was an eventful day! I spent the whole night up to 2am transferring music over via USB ad I didn't have a micro sd adapter to SD for my laptop only to realise the music player software is very annoying in that it lists ALL audio files upon startup and then shows them in one big listing unlike other media players (like on the SE phones for example).

This means that it's unusable if you have thousands of tracks like me and also when going to set the ringtone the MP3 tracks are listed in the ringtone selection menu meaning you end up scrolling thousands of tracks just to look for standard ringtones even if you have organised them in folders labelled specifically "music" or ringtones etc.

I have spent hours trying to work around this issue and have decided to box it back up and return the phone under DSR.

I will be getting the Android G2 powered phone I think but will have to look into their music player first.
 
If you go into music -> music player, you get the option for artists, albums, playlists or all songs. Im not sure what more you want? I think its a pretty decent media plyer to be honest.

I find it easier if you want to set the ringtone, to go to the track and click the "use tone" option rather than trying to set it from the profile screens.

All my music is sorted by Genre subfolders then Artist [album] etc - not all albums I have are tagged either so it's not the best way to manage music on the music player.
 
I've got a really bizarre problem.

The internet has suddenly stopped working through Opera Mini. It works fine though other applications. I have re-installed the application but this hasn't worked.

The only difference I have noticed is the little arrows pointing each way under the 3.5g symbol have broken up. As in they have gaps in the lines. When I fire Opera up it remains this way. If I open another application the lines change to solid and low and behold it works

I have full 3.5 signal strength.

Any ideas?
 
Those lines are broken when you arent connected to the internet, and become two solid lines when you are connected.

Dont know why yours isnt connecting, but just wanted to explain that bit of things.

It's probably stopped requesting a connection.

I don't use Opera Mini though so I don't know how to fix it. :(

The thing that's baffling me is as soon as a fire up the standard browser the lines go solid but Opera doesn't.
