EDIT: Etymotic Er6i are too expensive, I was looking for £60 tops.

Also, I was hoping for sound isolation, and it looks like shure beat etymotic for price, and ultimate ears for sound isolation, so are they my best bet?

Go for the Shures.

I couldn't ever get on with Shures though and found them uncomfortable.

they come with 3 bud types, so it should help me get the best fit
