Peoples from glasgow....

Been to Airdrie once, had to walk through a scheme to get to the footy from the train. Never been called big man so many times in my life. To and from the ground totalled up 5 shouts of "haw big man, whose playin'/whats the score". I'm guessing chicken nuggets and cheese slices don't help folk grow much past 6 foot in Airdrie :p
oi, im 6 foot 4, were not all smurfs :)

and at a guess, you were going to broomfield, so you would have gotten the train to drumgelloch and walked through craigneuk? youre a braver man than me.

Live in Bothwell.. Seems we have a few Tam Cowans in here with regards to Airdrie lol.
I spend most of my time in Airdrie and surrounding area (work there and family live there/coatbridge) and can't say it's any different to that of parts of Hamilton, Uddingston, Coatbridge and a lot of places in town :o.

Don't like George Square since they took all the grass away, city has too much of a grey concrete feel to it akin to aberdeen and very little interesting arcitecture for my liking. Love the trossacks. Good for shops and drinking, thats it for me. Hate Foxbar and Paisley with a passion, those places should be ring fenced off and gassed.

Edinburgh north all the way you west coast pussies

I was a little suprised to see so many posts to this thread :D. Im in Motherwell . I practically lived in Glasgow while at Uni.

Im from FEEFEE as they like to say when call centres fone.

I dont see peoples problem with Gleska, i love going through there, always had confrences there with last work and always found an excuse to stay the night

Sounds about right, remember getting off at the end of the line at Drumgelloch but didn't know much about where to go from the train so followed any fellow Dees heading to the ground. Wasn't the nicest area in the world :p
