I dont think it looks too bad. Just do R_depthoffield 1 and that sorts the blur crap out like it says in the install guide.

It seems to run a bit quicker too so something is missing! it seems to be less colourful

I actually like this. Seems to run better than before on my system, it seems theres less 'stuff' sometimes but overall it looks better. Think ill stick with it for a while, has one been made for Warhead?

Actually, a benefit of the vastly reduced depth of field effect is that you can be far more liberal with toning down the graphics settings for objects and terrain in the distance (seeing as its blurred out), thus giving the potental for massive gains in FPS. Don't be so quick to dismiss this mod. It might be a cheap graphical trick but it looks nice and has its uses.

get uploading to photobucket and posting the images here, instead of crappy 600x400 low texture images that facebook does

Marlos, you have to start the game with 16xAA for it to show, not do it whilst in game or its doesn't show properly

Any mod that increases the performance has to be cutting corners to be honest. I always say in this kind of thread I've yet to see one I prefer over the default game.

Maybe not an in game screen shot, but it could easily be pre-rendered graphics.
