4780x2 quad fire worth it??

Hi, just wondering if 4780x2 in crossfire is worth having, quite like the idea of a quad core graphics, cannot seem to find many newer reivews using newer drivers,,, any advice would be great.

Tri fire is the sweet spot.
So seeing as you only have 2 slots you would have to sell one of the 4870s & get a 4870X2.
 
If you do make sure you install air conditioning and get a pair of ear defenders ;)

My single 4870x2 makes enough noise wouldn't like to imagine 2 of the little toasters sat next to each :eek:

I know what you been,, my 4780's god the heat, the noise is not to bad,, might give tri crossfire a go,,
 
If money isn't the issue it might, out of curiosity, be worth a laugh, a bit of fun and an interesting experiment but I can't think of many games that will utilize the power. Worth it maybe if you have high res.
