BMW 325ci v Small Deer :(

Oh dear!!

Well last night i was called out at appro 23:30, heading out of baldock towards bedford along a nice wide empty road, only doing 60mph not in any great hurry im on call out after all

anyways to cut a long story short, out of the corner of my eye i spy a doe a deer a female deer, bang wtf has gone on!! (Sing it i have been)

Smashed my front bumper on my 325ci sport. Had a few quotes done, for new bumper, brake ducting, fog light and holder and all bits n bobs, cheapest was a mate who is only charging me £150 for weekends worth of labor on it £800.

The drivers side splitter/fogllight area has vanished, along with the shielding behind it. Thankfully the shielding has done its job, no damge to anything behind it at all. Car drives fine, but looking like its been in a fight

Which road was it? I know of a couple of roads around here that are prone to deer/foxes running into them.

Blimey,

No thank god it wasnt that bad, i have a friend who had a full size deer come through the bonnet and windscreen of her elise. Was totaled and she is lucky to be alive.

Well i have to drive it for the rest of the week, it goes in on friday. And will have a corsa to play with while its in over the weekend. Already looking forward to it.

The gutting thing is the bumper had some chips in it, which i was just pointing out to the better half the day before all this happened. And she said no i couldnt get it done. A day later and i have no choice but to get it done lol
