Do you eat vegetables?

i love veg.. brocolli prob coming top of list

i think why some people don't eat veg is because of the relativley short shelf life they have.. most people have some sort of veg festering and rotting at the bottom of the fridge that they've never found a use for before

More fruit and veg the better. I dont know why this "I dont eat fruit or veg" rubbish started. It does taste good and good for you. What could be better.

Carrorts and Roast potatoes on wed/sunday. Never really eat veg rest of the week.

On the + side, i head 4-5 peices of fruit a day.
On the - side i also eat chocolate daily lol.

Never really been into veg's that much, never really liked the taste :(

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without meat and twelve veg (no joke). I've never met a vegetable I didn't like.

Insert your own joke here.

It's not surprising there are so many health issues in this country with the amount of younger people (though a fair few older ones too) are so anti veggies. Combine that with lack of exercise and things look pretty grim!

Even if I didn't like them I'd still eat them owing purely to the fact they are so so important.

I like my veggies, (in the most part, I don't like asparagus) with broccoli being a particular favorite.

Don't really have as much as I should do in my diet now though but I try.

I eat loads of Veg these days. My GF is a veggie and she usually cooks, so whatever is put in front of me, I like.

I've actually started to like the taste of broccolli, tomatoes and other ones.

There's still ones like beetroot and cabbage that I think are totally rank though.

I love my fruit and veg, even though growing up my mum basically thought the only veg in existence was potato and cabbage, both boiled to absolute death, we had that with almost every meal :(

Nowadays though, I can do what I want! Nothing like biting into a really juicy, sweet tomato, or a big chunk of cucumber!

Also loved roasted veg, lots of onions, peppers, tomato, squash...

I'm hungry now :D

I like Veg and eat my fair share of it.

I dont eat garden or processed peas though, but wierdly i love mushy peas.

I think many people's experiences with veg when they are young (e.g living at parents/ school dinners) taints their perceptions later on in life.

I know that i will never ever eat any of my parents vegetables (or any other cooking) now, im so used to the wife's cooking that eating theirs is almost like eating cardboard.

What is there not to like about veg?

Fast food generation. There are no vegetables at Mc Donalds hence most people dont even know what they are :p

(deep fried potatoes do not count!)

I eat them cuz I was fed them a lot as a kid. But to be honest when I cook myself i rarely use vegetables since they are too much work to prepare.

I eat lots and lots of veggies as they are important in keeping healthy and I've got this far without any major illnesses.. but I tend to avoid brussels and broccoli, just never got around the taste on those.. /eek

Nah, I'm the same. It's all about the e-numbers! :D

I love beans though, which is odd. Peas just don't seem to agree with me.

Some people here are really missing out. There's nothing quite like tucking into a plate of freshly cooked fresh veg. Om nom nom.

I love my broccoli, peas, salads, etc. I used to go without for some time, but it made me feel terrible. People don't realize how important greens are to their diets until they've made a substantial effort to include them.

Funily enough i never used to, i thought they tasted like the devils work, however, in the last year or so i seam to be realy enjoying them, Keep having stir fry and loads of different stuff.

And for the record when i didnt, yes i could poo!! but deffinetly notice a difference physicaly and mentaly now i eat them a lot more
