I was wondering if you had unlimited funds for a pc what would you get? I think i would struggle to spend more than say £3000.00 on usefull stuf with out getting like quad sli etc.

what would your guys dream builds be i.e lottery winning build

Ive done this before too, even with pretty much top spec stuff I got to around £3500 (including 3 SSD's and 2 GTX295's)

true, i remember the last one

i havn't got a list saved but i remember my last 'wish build' was around £5k

it had i7 extreme, tri-sli with highest priced cards, top end mobo, best psu, 2x2TB HDD's.... u get the idea with that, also theres a prebuilt pc on the site @ around £5k too so i fail to see how you 'struggled' to pass the £3K mark

Not if you have a massive dvd collection to put on. Almost got 2tb filled on my computer and haven't even dented my collection. I'm know building up my blu-ray collection. I need a breakthrough in hdd technology we need 50tb drives.
Suppose you could do it slightly cheaper using 1tb drives, but hen that would a 2nd sata controller card.
But I don't see how 12tb is a waste

Right fiddled around with google sketch up a bit more.

Still going to be joined up like billytheimpalers awesome render and the red logo on the side, with the two drives above it, I put them on the wrong panel.

it's still massive But I can't see a way of shrinking it any more. Unless I remove one of the rads then I could mount the reservoirs where that rad would have been.

what's the performance between dual sli and triple sli?







Oh and the yellow thing is the hdds

managed to get it down to 620,500,400 (Depth, Height, width), Happy with the heigh and depth, only slightly bigger than my current case, which I could see a way of trimming the depth though.

Any thoughts, ideas or any obvious problems.

But no I'm not spening 5k on the internals.
