Random phone call! - 10 year old nephew

aint spoke to my little nephew in a while and he just phoned me and said

"hi mark i was wondering at school today if a chicken had lips, could it whistle?"

i really didnt know what to say and i started laughing and he then put phone down on me?

so what was i actually ment to say and where has he got this phrase from? cause surely he couldnt have thought it himself lol!

I used to call the operator. They got fed up and called my parents and my parents had to get a lock for the phone.

whistling is just movement of air isn't it? then the shape of your lips will dictate pitch etc. so surely.. if it had lips.. is could whistle? amiright?
