DVLA renewing photo license

Anyone renewed their license recently?
If so what did you pay.
The covering letter (which is attached to the form says £17.50, the form says £20.

how can they be so incompetent that they can't even match there figures. Well actually saying that they are still removing peoples bike entitlements.
Anyone know? tried phoning them but got bored after 5 minuets.

That says £20 as well, think I'll go for that figure.

Is anyone more incompetent than dvla? last time a I sold a car, they didn't even remove me from he logbook. Didn't realise till I got a tax renewal for it a year latter. But i did learn if you don't receive a confirmation letter then phone them..

I generally find them to have a reasonable turn around, but make silly admin errors, such as spelling mistakes etc.

The DVLA have never spelt my surname right and I;ve had 3/4 V5 forms. Complete tards tbh.

I did mine when I changed my address, so it cost me £0

I recently did it online (I still had an old paper license) and it was £17.50.

I was impressed at how quick and painless it was to do online, you enter your passport number and it pulls all your details and photo from the passport office. Only took about a week to come through too

rubbish. My passport is old as well. that probably needs renewing soon as well.
