My TyTn II is getting a bit long in the tooth now, so i've been looking that these 2 new HTCs...

Can't quite decide if I could manage to give up the qwerty keyboard, in favour of a thinner model..... hmmm

Anyone thinking of picking up either of these models?
 
I'm liking the look of the Touch Pro2, really dont like using the on-screen keyboards so couldn't do without the qwerty keyboard.

Any ideas what operators are going to be stocking these and when there released exactly?
 
I'd guess T-mobile will be first with the Touch Pro 2, but I could be wrong.

I think if I do decide to upgrade, i'll buy off-contract like I did last time :0
 
Diamond 2 is available now for about £400 (off contract).

Touch Pro 2 will be out in a few months I think, for about £500 (again, off contract).
 
Rumours have it that the touch pro 2 is coming to Orange at the beginning of june, how true this is I do not know though.

I really want the TP2 like after seeing numerous videos of it in action, need to see if I can bully Ornage into an early upgrade :p
 
Just bought the HTC Touch Diamond 2 from www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk

Good thing I cancelled my LG Arena early because all I'm hearing is bad things about it. I'm paying £8/month more on the Diamond for the same contract but it should be worth it.
Diamond 2 should arrive on Thursday (7th) and WinMo 6.5 on the 11th?

Not the best deal and not my ideal network. I wanted to keep my number and stay on O2 but the 'upgrade' route was too expensive.
Also, I couldn't find any online deals that offered the O2 Web Bolt On instead of unlimited texts bolt on. I heard it's hit and miss getting O2 to change the bolt on and I didn't want to risk paying £35/month + £7.50(web bolt on) for 18-months.

EDIT: Stock date is 7th, Delivery date is 8th.

I've just phoned up carphone warehouse direct.

They have the phone in stock on orange and o2

on upgrade he quoted me:

I'm so tempted!!!!

It's either this phone or the samsung innov8, thing is nobody seems to have the innov8 in stock :(
 
i think you keep your phone untill you are no longer able to upgrade the os. wmo 6.5 is around the corner. it should breath some new life into your phone

The HD came with a "furry" pouch too, perfect for keeping the HD in tip top condition (before I lost it...) so I assume both the D2 and TP2 will also have pouches.
