its next to the pcie slot 1 at the very end on the right hand side :) white writing next to it (ccmos1)

could be hidden by your graphics card.

cheers millsy got that sorted.
but im currently overclocked to 3ghz this is using standard voltages of vcore(1.325)v and of the ram(1.80v),and it works perfectly and ive testes stability with prime95 for more than 4 hours and been runing it like that for around a week.
As soon as i try to overclock past 3ghz my screen never loads i have tried increasing voltages up to vcore 1.4 and ram to 1.95v but still even when i try to overclock to 8*400 to get 3.2ghz it will never load
do i have to turn voltages higher>? i dont know how safe that is and im only a beginner so i dont want to risk to much.

not an overclocker myself, so can't really help you there.

Depending on what memory you have, i think 1.8v seems a little low to me though, better off waiting for someone who knows a little more to confirm that :)

have a read of the stickies in the OC forum
you want to set your RAM to its rated voltage and leave it, there'll be a sticker on the side, 2V I think from quick google
if raising your CPU voltage isnt helping then try your NB
But remember as you raise your FSB that also OC's your RAM as well as your CPU, so you need to lower the divider to ensure its not the RAM holding you back, as I said have a read of the stickies, they should help you

I looked up the rated ram and i got the value between 1.9-2.2v so i kept at the lower range to be on the safe side
yer ive kept my divider in check so my ram is always at 800hz
For 3ghz i have 333*9 so 333*2=666*1.2 = 800 which is the right frequency for my ram and this setup works perfectly.if i try to increase the multiplyer to 10(running 333 fsb) it just doenst work also setting 8*400 and using a 1:1 ratio for my ram doenst work both cases with a higher vcore voltage
What is your NB?
