i feel sorry for the guys who had to sit there for 489673487368734 hours whilst getting it done.

oh yeah before i forgot....that is some serious artwork :p

They are extremely good, but if I dont know if this is just me, but they seem to be generic designs

Although you can not second guess the amount of detail on arms there.

I see exactly why you can't link. :p

Some of his work is a little disturbing though.

I dont know if anyone else has seen what I would like on my skin (as per my previous posts) I'm a big H.P Lovecraft fan, Big FAN!. But recently I have been wondering about H.R Geiger, Any opinions about his art from GD regulars?

Done to death!

At least, that is what I've been told.

My tattooist said something I found really interesting. He is a tattooer, not a tattoo artist. He can copy anything you bring to him and put it on exactly the same but can't come up with anything from scratch.

I thought it was an interesting distinction.

Big fan of Geiger, but if you do want his work, please please make sure you get a brilliant tattooist, as his work isnt the easiest to put down on paper yet alone skin... biomech stuff is great ive got a few of his art books etc.

Amazing skill but sad to see that someone wants some of the designs on there arms.

Christ, if he can do that to skin can he do it on canvas?

Also dont they print the designs with trace line?

If I was going to get a tattoo, it would be done by a man with that kind of talent, so that it would be a real piece of art.

Check out XAM, Phil Kyle or DrewXIII for some epic work ;)

Yeah, same here, IMO its all about a artist than a) advise me on how said tattoo will last over a certain amount of years, and also as i tend to balloon up and down in weight, I have been specificity told I need to be a certain weight for very detailed stuff, as it is very easy for me to go up and down, which as you know aint worth jack

BTW, Neoni, I would appreciate if possible the ISBN number (If any) for Giegers works.

Obviously no worries either waym its just that the internet has made me lazy.;

Cheers dude.
