The iPhone camera is terrible in anything other than perfect lighting.

That was it on its first test boot prior to doing any cable tidying.

It was immaculate until I discovered the CPU cooler fan was too loud, so I had to install the speed controller that uses one of the expansion slots at the back. There was no obvious way to get a cable there and keep it hidden.

I'll sort it properly when I get a decent fan controller anyway.

Using the same cooler on my spare pc and had the same problem, in the end I plugged the fan directly into the cpu header and changed the fan option in the BIOS (Gigabyte EP45-DS3P)

Aye, I might end up doing that - there's currently 3 spare fan ports on the M/B, so that would mean all 5 fans could be powered directly from there and controlled accordingly. But I do fancy having a nice shiney fan controller to play with, so we'll see. lol

I was planning another screen - this one is actually a couple of years old and it's developed some tiny artifacts that show up from time to time. It's perfectly good enough to use though, so would make a good secondary screen.

It will have to wait a month or two though before I can spend any more on it!

Aye, the screen is definitely on the list - not sure about the speakers though - I don't use them that much and the quality is really good as far as my ears can tell, so probably not worth it.

Like the build, very nice. No need to waste money on new speakers if they are doing fine for the odd use.

depends how much you like your music, films, games.. and whether you got a hifi already yeah.. twas only a suggestion.. i find audio just as important as anything else.
