My mate didn't even wake up for the fight! But then, I guess he didn't miss a lot!
 
It really did look like a professional fighter vs an amateur fighter in there, Hatton once again (previously against Mayweather) looked totally and utterly out of his depth. It's about as clinical a finish as you can get. No one can blame the referee, he had a good trainer, he was in shape but reality just hit him hard on the night. He couldn't even last afew rounds, and Pacman isn't that good... many have battled it out with him but in all honesty Hatton has been built up to be a lot bigger then he actually is.

Not knocking him as a person, but as a fighter he's never been as big as some people have wanted to believe.

So do I. He will make it as boring a fight as possible if he has too, but I think he will win, he certainly won't be reckless. Probably take afew rounds to measure up manny and just try to steal rounds with accurate timed shots. Let's not forget he's got another GREAT fighter to overcome first.
 
i honestly thought that Hatton was seriously injured, his breathing and his eyes... Anyway glad he's alright.. or at least i hope so.. Pac-Man is without doubt the pound for pound no1... I think this was a big shock on how easy manny destroyed hatton. Freddie Roach was 100% bang on. Everyone else, wrong.
 
Is it just me who feels Mayweather should be coming back to fight Cotto or Mosley? That imo would be a much better and 'tougher' fight for him but I suppose thats why he's not taking it.
 
Think most of us here knew deep down pacman was going to KO hatton, but I definitely didnt see a 2nd round KO happening! Pacman simply outclassed an over the hill hitman. Im keeping my fingers crossed for mayweather vs pacman, that will be my fight of 2009 for sure.
 
Rickey looked totally outclassed in every way, looked nervous in the prep footage as well.

Manny did a good job, I was surprised the second round lasted as long as it did as I had guessed within 10 secs it'd be over :)

Found a sports bar in planet hollywood hotel to watch it in after wondering up to the MGM and not finding anywhere decent there. Lots of english in there but out numbered by manny fans, very good atmosphere. Pretty expensive 6 minutes though, probably more than a vegas hooker :p
 
I genuinely thought Hatton would take this, I didnt see Manny having the power to trouble him.

I got this one so so wrong, well done to Manny, but I think its time for Ricky to hang up his gloves, there just doesnt seem to be a fight left for him.
 
I honestly dont see how anyone who likes/follows boxing thought Hatton would win.

Manny Pacquaio is a superior BOXER in every single way.

Another thing i dont understand is people who back an englishman to win, simply because he's english.
