hi im trying to set me sound up on me gaming pc to come out the monitor speakers and me other speakers as well how can i set this up? thanks :confused:

A good option is a 3.5mm jack splitter to get sound on both simultaneosly.
Have you tried plugging them in and setting them both as the same type of speakers? i.e. both line out

there should be an audio connector under the screen next to the dvi vga connector??

well, I can't really tell... but the spec says.. It does have 3.5mm somewhere.

i couldnt be bothered to look at mine before, but i have looked now, its next to the vga port

ive got the monitor and my speakers plug in to the same jack with a splitter but can't get audio on me monitor? the audio on monitor is at 100% but not geting any thing.

why dont you use the monitor as the front left and right, and your other speakers for rear left and right, for a sort of surround sound effect. (the speakers on the monitor are prity to poor to be honest, probably worst bit of the screen, they arent very loud at all.)

edit:- i think there are 2 sockets underneath there, you have it plugged in the correct one??

also does any body know how to set the pc up with HDMI ive set it in the OS but till it gets in the OS it gos to DVI and ive got 3 OS so i haf to go to DVI then go to HDMI wen in OS does any one know how to set it up so that it just gos to HDMI?

one looks like a mic jack the other is audio jack yes its in the write one

The speakers in the monitor tbh are pretty bad, they are there for the odd sound effect in the office I think mainly.

think you might need to go into the menu, and go sounds, then audio select.

ive got sound throw me speakers just not the monitor ones

umm turn pc off, discon dvi/vga or whatever, plug in hdmi into pc and monitor, turn on pc, should do all the work for you???
