The Hunt For Gollum

Wow, just watched that trailer and I thought it was an actual production movie that was coming out, not just a fan made one. Can't wait to download this.

I think it will be in HD, as in the downloads section there are banners advertising the HD premier on 3rd May.

Just finished watching it, for a fan made film its incredible, I didn't think much of the story, its no Tolkien, it is however very much in the keeping of the LOTR movie, the acting is good and the choreography of the fight scenes is remarkably good, the music is perfect. For £3000 its incredible.
 
I thought that was bloody brilliant. Yes, you can tell it's fan made, but I couldn't fault anything in it. Will definatley be downloading it when it's available.
 
ju7st watched the trailer while waiting for it to load. seems like it will be really good so thanks to the op for posting it.

only thing i didn't like in the trailer was the bit when i think it is gandalf saying to aragorn if you can't find him, no one can, when the orcs found gollum easy enough. of course i haven't read this part of the books and may be mistaken in how gollum was captured by the enemy
 
Being that this is free - why on earth not create their own legal torrents? It'd take a huge load from their servers, be much cheaper for them, and being free (I'll say that again) people I'm sure would love to seed it for ages.
 
We watched this last night from the stream and thought it was excellent, much better than expected.

Some of the killings in the fight scenes looked slightly ropey but that was to be expected.

Here's to hoping they make some more.
