Apple online store down.

I wouldn't be impressed if they did on the MP.

I'd return it straight away or expect a free upgrade or something
What a stupid attitude. The product was worth X to you when you bought it. If the price drops, why has the value of that product (to you) changed? Prices drop all the time.

same here not when i have just dropped £1700 on an imac
If you regret spending £1700 on your iMac, you shouldn't have bought it anyway - whether or not the prices drop.

So you'd be quite happy knowing you could have saved a hundred pounds maybe more, if you'd waited a week?
Seen as though Apple does some sort of refresh at least once a year, would you be happy having bought X for one price knowing you could have bought a faster/upgraded X for the same or less, 4-5 months later?

Same (read: no) difference.

Quite a big difference between one week and 5 months.

I wont be returning my iMac that I got on thursday even if the prices have come down, because I cant imagine being without it now, I'm totally blown away in all honesty, Im converted already. Maybe if it wasn't my first mac Id be a little more gutted if they dropped the price just after buying something else :/

I reckon just maintenance :>

On a computer you'll probably keep for at least 2-3 years?

Yes, no matter how many years I keep it, the difference between 1 week and 5 months is a long time. If I knew a price drop was happening next week I'd wait, if I knew it was happening in 5 months I wouldn't bother. Hard to understand?
