FIFA 09 - Ultimate Team Mode

I picked up a 4-1-2-1-2 Player Training card for 9,000 coins, which is a bargain compared to what they have been selling for...20,000, 31,000, 17,0000, etc!!
So I apply that card to KAKA (97) and my chemistry shot up with him in the squad by 6 points, very nice addition.

I've got a 94 Roanldo RW but I have tried all formation and possitions and cant get him to like any :)

Anyone use him?

Currently got an Italian/English blend - 5* - 70 chem so getting somwhere :)

alright guys!
i need some advice for my noob self
i have played about 8 games, got about 3000 coins
have an all bronze team except gold striker, with 2/3 players on 1games left contract
should i buy a silver pack or buy a bronze pack and spend some coins on a cheap gold striker eg santa cruz?

i personally would buy cheap bronze players that fit your formation and nationality. can be some mega bargains out there and chemistry is far more important than skill rating.

I totally kick ass with my 1.5* "Sic Army". Now gotta pay more attention and stop these players from mysteriously disappearing :D
Anyways, what does having a red card above all your players mean?

Means the opposition has played one of there "gameplay cards" i think that one means if you foul someone you get a yellow card.

My team is currently getting slightly better, although i think i will struggle to get much better (without training).

Formation 442, Nationality English

4+1/2 stars and 100 Chemisty
Emirates Stadium with +10morale.

Manager : Harry Redknapp

GK : Joe Hart
LB : Neil Warnock
CB : Wes Brown
CB : Reo Ferdinand
RB : Gary Neville
LM : K. Richardson
CM : Steven Gerrard (442- training card used on him)
CM : Gareth Barry
RM : Michael Rimmer (ME)
ST : Michael Owen
ST : G. Agbonlahor

I bought Steven Gerrard for 5000coins he some how slipped through unnoticed.

On the bench I have:
Torres, Podolski, Guily, Rooney, Carrick, Puyol and Pederson.

I can change 2 of the benched players into the team without sacrificing any team chemistry. All my players that were rated below 80 i have trained up to 80 and now i am going to leave them be.

On a slightly more helpful note, I found out it takes about 5mins for the game to update your stars rating. So when playing the computer you can reduce you team to its lowest rating and wait for it to update your stars. Then you can quickly change to what ever team you want to play and start the game against a team with equal stars to your full team. This gives you a good multiplier.

For example i can make my team 2 stars, when using majority bronze players.
Then I change to my full team 4+1/2 stars, before it updates i start the match against Man Utd.
I set myself as the away team.

My multiplier is
Difficulty 2.25
Away 1.02
Difference 1.24

means i can get around 1500 coins per game.

Is this free? I downloaded it over the weekend and haven't dabbled with it yet. but a post on the first page indicates it's free for 5 games then chargeable.

^^^^^^^^^^

yeah it costs $10 so whatever the equivelant would be in any other currency.

Anybody have a RANGERS kit, Milan AWAY kit, Getafe HOME kit, and or some 4-1-2-1-2 Advanced training cards???? GET AT ME ASAP PLZ!!!!!

I got a 4-4-2 manager training card and I'm contemplating chaing from my Spanish team. I play english strikers and keeper as it is with a a full gold english 442 defence and 442 CM with Ronaldo 99 out on the right.

Not sure what to do. Haven't got an Spanish strikers yet. So when I change it up a bit I lose Aragones country chemistry boost.

Anyone also notice how head coaches seem to be going for slightly more money these days? could get them for around 500 before and they seem to be double that now. Makes no difference as I can always sell my old one for the same price so to change for my training it doesnt cost anything. Has helped a lot of my players get into the 90's and some of my others that I'm training to sell get really high.
