Help me on my motoring quest...

Hi guys,

I haven't been posting on here much as of late as life is pretty hectic. I am on a quest in secret to treat my dad to something special as it's his 64th birthday on the 19th of May and he has just been diagnosed with Prostate cancer which unfortunately has left the gland (spread).

In my spare time, I will be on a quest to find his old racing Jaguar "Kougar" Kit car that he used to own and built with his friend when he was younger (then I was born and screwed up the amount of seats required in his car!)

The photos below show the car that I am after. I have the registration plate and wondered if it's possible to trace the owner of it via the internet or DVLA for a fee? I know they don't give out addresses etc, but I have searched to no avail to find an owners club who might help me.

I would appreciate any help or pointers so that I can re-unite him with his favourite car or even an owner of a similar car to this so that I can put a smile back on his face :)

Gonna be very difficult to find the car as it could quiet literally be anywhere. As the only data access the public has is very limited. Unless the car is seen by someone on these forums which is a very very small chance your unlikely to find it.

Might I suggest going to a vintage car dealer and seeing if you can rent one for a few days, or even a modern sports car for your dad.
