Barton Suspended from NUFC

Good riddance? He will only be suspended until Shearer leaves then the new manager will give him another chance.

The trouble is with premiership football is there is always someone willing to take an arse like this on. Probably one of the teams that comes up.

As much as I'd love to see him playing non league football, next season he will be causing newcastle more problems or someone like wolves.
 
He'll end up somewhere like Birmingham City, who need some marketing to promote their club in the PL.
He's an idiot, Shearer should just sack him IMO.
 
All right, good riddance for the rest of this season at least.

I honestly don't know why we a) bought him in the first place and b) managers continue to give him the benefit of the doubt even after he's proved himself to be an utter ***** time and time again.

What i find stranger still is that NUFC paid that much for Kevin Nolan who i'm guessing wont be playing league 1 football if you guys go down? £5 million for ... 18 games is a very weird decision. I would have personally got someone on loan from the bigger boys.

Him and Lee Bowyer should open up a charm school with Michael Ball.
 
Alonso seems to be a magnet for rash challenges. Great player, hope he isn't seriously injured. Barton has been a disgrace for a long time. I can't remember him being in the press for a good footballing performance.
 
Should be banned for life on account of repetition of disgusting fouls and the fact he'll never learn and is likely to end a career someday soon.
 
Why has it taken so many managers for this to happen? Yeah Shearer has influence up here but surely he is not the only manager that has the stones to suspend/fine/semi-sack him. And now the squad has apparently had a revolt because Shearer demanded that they turn up on time or they will get fined!
 
Good to see that hes been suspended..now if only NUFC had the balls to sack the idiot then id be more happier.

Perhaps the FA should ban him from football forever...i think hes an absolute disgrace to the game on and off the field. He needs a severe beating and i reckon one day someone or a group of people are gonna lynch his scrawny arse.

Yep and that's the reason why he'll never get sacked. There's always an idiot who will tkae a punt on him and according to reports that idiot is Fat Sam.

Imo the FA should have banned him for life a long time ago.

edit: It was Fat Sam that signed him for Newcastle. If he wastes another clubs money on this **** then he's more retarded than i thought.
 
I never understand why players like him or Michael Brown are still playing. Just dirty gits who'll end up costing someone months of their career with a needless challenge and they'll end up with a 3 match ban and a 2 week fine.

Then they'll come out in the papers and say that they've never ever intentionally gone out to hurt anyone.
