Can you install games on a PS3s Hard Drive?

They should have really made this a mandatory install, so many people have no idea it exists and it's frustrating having 10 second waiting times for a freaking fighting game.

If I did player matches I used to make it best of 5 rounds because going back and forth to the lobby so fast against someone who didn't bother to install is annoying.

Luckily the 360 is so loud that it's almost certain other people playing will have it installed.

I think it loads a bit faster off DVD too.

Then when it does get the the menu, you press play only for the game to crash

Haha Cassette's, then it all went wrong after an hour of loading on a BBC and you were back to square one

The loading time differences on 360 are pretty big when installed.

I've only got gears 2 installed on mine at the moment coz can't fit anything else on my 20gig drive.I installed mainly due to the fact it means the xbox is so much quieter when playing as it doesn't sound like a jet engine anymore.

and no what? Most are willy waving with Blu-Ray and filling up discs because they can.
