Oh shut up. I can totally understand how they're feeling. They were ****ing robbed, dirty Norwegian ****.

I suppose all you Chelsea haters are having a good tug right now.

I don't like Chelsea but you're spot on, all the haters are going to give it large now. Not much you can really do though :p

Didn't see the match but it must be heartache for the Blues to go out with such a late goal. Unlucky guys

Any major incidents or talking points ???

Regarding the penalties.... Anyone who honestly believes Platini didn't have a word in the ref's ear before the game is up in the clouds. This is the final Uefa wanted and they got it.

Yep, you're absolutely right. Platini hates us with a passion and NOTHING would amuse me more than Man Utd giving Barca a good thrashing. That'll teach the ponce.

I'm in two minds, I thought Barca vs utd would be a far better final. Man U won't sit 10 men behind the ball, so barca will have far more space to get in behind and thats their game. It will be far more open and that will simply make for a good final. Chelsea would have done the same in the final, there was zero quality football on show tonight or the first leg and I'd be bored to tears sitting through another game of it.

The penalties though, for me, none were penalties, two handballs one that was but Pique's hand was already up, he didn't move it up and despite the slow motion after the flick was less than a second till contact. Those happen in most games and aren't given.

Likewise the last claim, it was mostly ribcage and a bit of upper arm, the rib cage contact blocked the shot anyway so the arm was irrelevant and completley not on purpose.

most of the "penalties" were dives. Malouda freekick early that was on the box, there was actually nothing but a slight arm across the chest with no force, he just flew backwards.

Drogba with the ball hitting his shoulder and him flinging himself over again.

Then Abidal was sent off for Anelka tripping himself, and Messi was going through the defence late on, Alex stuck a leg in as he went past(not the one he was yellowed for) and just clipped him, Alex did what Abidal was sent off for and should have got at least a second yellow for it plus a freekick in a dangerous area.

The good news, that **** Alves won't be in the final, utter turd, is even more loathesome than Cole and Drogba. The bad, if Guardiola plays a similar completely rotten team for no apparent reason they'll lose to Utd. Sergio was woeful throughout, Kieta was useless, Alves was pathetic. Eto'o did nothing but had no service at all. Xavi and Messi were very poor.

Essiens goal though, for me, goal of the year, utterly stunning strike that deserved to put Chelsea through. They thoroughly deserved to win even if they played anti football. But I don't feel they were cheated out of it and had the ref got the Alex/Abidal decisions right then Barca would have had the man advantage, so its not like the ref wasn't crap for Barca either.

Pique's handball, Drogba being pulled down, Malouda being brought down.

I don't believe the Eto'o handball was a penalty, but I've seen them given. The others should have been.

I thought the Malouda incident wasn't a pen. There was a foul outside of the box but once they got inot the box i didn't think Alves done much wrong, Malouda knocked it past him and he can't just vanish.

Speaks the truth.

UEFA have even said themselves that they hate the dominace of English football in the Champions League.

EDIT: Says its all: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ver-english-dominance-in-the-champions-league

Someone had a word with the ref before the game me thinks......

Yeah but you're always going to say that because they knocked you out ;).

That was a tough one though, most of his body was in the box but his trailing leg was outside. I thought it was a pen at first but having seen it again.. it depends on the ref. This one was never going to give anything to Chelsea.

Scratchy - just proves what a **** ref he is tbh.

It was a foul outside the box, then again as they moved into the box, and the most definite foul of the three was the last one. I can't see how you missed it, he's got hold of his shirt with one hand and his other arm across his throat/face.

What terrible refereeing! Not that it matters but why did Iniesta not get a yellow for taking his shirt off?

Well at least with a United Barca final Messi will be shown what a real defence is
