Why are centr al heating/water controls so stupid ?!

Arrrgghh !

We've just moved into a new house, and I've finally gotten around to sorting out the timer on the heating and hot water.

Now I like to think I'm a fairly intelligent human being, but I'll be damned if I can make this thing work properly ! I can either set it to do what I want on week days, or weekends, but not both!

Are they all this maddening ? :mad:
